DJI’s Flight Autonomy system is one of the most comprehensively designed systems in the world of drones today. These are the core components that help keep the Inspire 2 flawlessly functioning at all times during flight. Obstacle sensing systems remain active during normal flights, RTH and all of the Intelligent Flight modes. Vision systems that are both forward and downward facing helps the Inspire 2 in detecting obstacles up to 30m ahead. Upward facing infrared sensors can scan obstacles 16ft (15m) above and keeps the Inspire 2 protected while being flown in enclosed spaces.
